"Three Pubs" Hike RaxAlpe

Destination: Massif of Raxalpe with the summit of Preinerwand at 1793 m a.s.l.

We'll take a walk through the picturesque mountains, be rewarded with incredible views, and our hiking efforts will be crowned with a drink at a mountain hut – be it Karl Ludwig Haus, Waxriegelhaus, or Neue Seehütte. Three taverns on one route. We'll refresh ourselves at the taverns, but we will NOT get drunk. Don't mistake this for a mountain "tour de bar" (although we might do one of those in the future :D). It's irresponsible to be in the mountains and in rough terrain while slightly intoxicated. Those who don't wish to hike all the way to the Preinerwand summit can wait at Seehütte :)

Planned Departure: 7:30 AM from Bratislava (Aupark parking lot by McDonald's)

Travel time: Approximately 2:20–2:45 hours

Est. return to Bratislava: Around 07:00 PM

Price includes: Transport by luxury minivan Bratislava – destination – Bratislava, experienced coordinator

Hike duration: According to mapy.cz, approx. 5–6 hours (don't worry, we're not breaking records; it's a leisurely pace to keep us warm, and it's not a via ferrata).

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel at least 48 hours before the planned start (by email or SMS), the full amount will be refunded. If you cancel later or do not show up at the agreed meeting point on time, unfortunately, nothing will be refunded.

Each participant takes part in all activities voluntarily, is aware of all risks, and accepts responsibility for their actions, health, and safety. In any case, don't forget (as a precaution) anti-slip covers (crampons/cleats), a headlamp (flashlight/light source), and snacks. We recommend dressing in layers, "like an onion." You can't buy the weather, so successful inversion observation is not guaranteed.

We do not rent out headlamps, anti-slip covers, or other equipment for winter hiking.

P.S.: If the weather is not suitable or the route is closed for any reason, we will devise an alternative program. In case of low attendance, we reserve the right to cancel the trip by 12:00 PM the day before departure.
